| just reading down through the guestbook all one can read is messages from 'not amusing' from 'stone'.. seriously? are you really mocking someone who has done alot to publicise our sport through his success? It is easy to see that your annoyed about something; however maybe you should consider stopping now and forgetting this rather crude, anonymous attack on a more public figure than yourself... |

| if you read it correctly the last posting is 'not amusing' from stone, not 'not amused' |

I always try to resist replying to comments or getting involved in the arguments on here. And I'm not about to start now. If anyone would ever like me to reply to anything specific, then please email me.
Friends regularly ask me... 'who is that idiot writing rubbish on your guestbook?' Of course, I never know, as there is no need to reveal one's true identity when posting a message.
However, I can point out that the last posting by 'not amused from stone' (28th Sept) is not from the same IP address as every other posting by this name. From the tone and words of the most recent, it can probably be safely assumed that it was posted in jest by a different person, having a dig at the original.
Interestingly, postings by the original 'not amused from stone' and 'french speaker from near france' are from the same IP address! |

It would seem that not amused from stone is one of those nut jobs that he was referring to in his last post!
I'm pretty sure you'll find that the majority of the senior team are taking a bit of down time right now from training, hence Campbell is having a bit of fun and doing a few other activities. I guess that would also explain what you referred to as a "disrespectful approach" to the Paul McConkey prem race and the Scottish champs. You have to put it into context, he only raced the world champs the weekend before and these two races happened to fall during his post worlds down time. The fact that he still competed is a testament to his respect for the competitions. In fact, check out this old article (http://campbellwalsh.com/news.php?page=258), I think the first sentence says it all! |

I am shocked and appalled by your completely shocking attitude to the Scottish champs. Your blasé attitude to the preparation week and training slots in dismaying. Furthermore your reference to this mementoes event as "a holiday" does a massive disservice to Tourism Scotland.
The internet is no longer a place reserved for academics and US military communication. Your articles must be far more appreciative of the fact that any nut job can now access the internet. You should take far greater care in the tone and manner of your writing so as not to offend any of these nut jobs.
I shall be further pursuing this matter with the respective authorities. I think you are super duper, but in light of your recent articles I will be suggesting you be stripped of all previous medals and a three year ban be enforced. |
